Banksy is quietly donating its latest work to British hospital |, which will be auctioned off to rai
Banksy posted 'Game Changer' on instagram today. The monochrome painting is an artist's tribute to the medical staff.
It depicts a boy playing with a nurse's toy, which is wearing a cape, a mask and a white apron with a Red Cross pattern.
In normal times, children's favorite toys, batman and spider-man, are left in a trash can. It satirizes the superhero in the movie who cannot save the real world when the disaster comes.
The work is currently on display on floor C at Southampton general hospital and is currently only visible to staff and patients at the hospital, BBC reported. Banksy left a note for hospital staff saying: 'Thanks for all you're doing. I hope this brightens the place up a bit, even if its only black and white.'
"Thank you for everything. I wanted this piece to brighten up the place, even if it was black and white."
Southampton general hospital representatives said the work would be auctioned to raise money for the national health service.
